Is This Really True?

I hate text messages. I try hard to avoid communicating that way. I like people in person, or virtually, or even on the phone.

And I get text messages all day, every day. They’re mostly looking for money, and from time to time, I’ve been so mindless about deleting them that I delete one I should have intended to keep.

So I’ve learned not to answer any petitions or questionnaires from the Congressional Black Caucus PAC, because I learned some time ago that if I do complete one of those petitions, the CBCPAC then sends me a text message. And it does no good to unsubscribe, which I always do, because if I answer another of their petitions, I get another text message informing me that I have resubscribed. So I have to unsubscribe again. It’s endless, unless I never respond to a CBCPAC petition, which is what I do. They’re tempting, but I don’t want to get back on the list, and have to get myself off the list.

Today (just now), I got an e-blast from them asking if I really approve of something. Because I didn’t previously say I disapproved. Because I don’t want the text message. And the issue was this:

FUCK, NO!, I don’t approve. Is this really even real? Did Bobby really say this? Why would he have? And to whom? If he did say it, to anyone, then he’s stupid enough not to know when to keep his mouth shut. At the very least, it’s massively politically incorrect.

I know he’s nuts, but does he really even think that? And would he really say it publicly enough that someone would note it, and quote him?

This all needs to end. And it needs to end now. If JD and the Kabinet removed the clown via the 25th Amendment, or if Congress did, or impeached him, what are they afraid of? The clown’s popularity is, as they like to say it, “cratering.” More and more people get it. And even if they didn’t, and JD and the Kabinet wanted to run for subsequent office, but the clown sabotaged them, haven’t any of them ever read JFK’s “Profiles in Courage?” Yeah, sometimes doing the right thing costs you. But you can console yourself that you did the right thing. These creatures need to grow the fuck up.
